Perry Homes Donates Nearly $500,000 Worth Of New Garage Doors To Dallas Area Habitat For Humanity
DALLAS (June 2025) - Perry Homes, one of the region’s leading homebuilders, has donated over 400 new garage doors, valued at almost $500,000 total, to the Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity organization. This generous contribution will support Dallas Habitat’s mission to provide safe, affordable housing for families in need throughout the community.
The donation, consisting of garage doors valued at $1,000 or more each, will be made available to the Dallas community at a discounted price through the Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore in West Dallas (2800 N Hampton Rd, Dallas, TX 75212). Dallas Habitat has begun selling the doors for approximately 70% off retail at its West Dallas location, and will begin to incorporate some in upcoming builds.
“This contribution to our Dallas ReStores helps Dallas families keep costs down on their home renovation or construction, while generating revenue that helps Dallas Habitat provide safe, affordable housing for Dallas families,” said Cory Hohweiler, Chief Operating Officer, Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity.
This donation is another step towards the ongoing partnership between Perry Homes and the Dallas Area for Habitat for Humanity. In May, Perry Homes also supported the Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build Dallas 2025 project by spending a day building a home for a local Dallas family.
